DELPH HOUSE HAS BEEN OWNED AND RUN BY THE SAME FAMILY SINCE 1996.
t is situated in Broadstone, 4 miles from Poole Town Centre and 3 miles from Wimborne, a short walk from the BROADSTONE VILLAGE, WITH VARIOUS STOPS AND TRANSPORT LINKS, in a quiet residential area. THE FRONT aspect of the home OVERLOOKS the RENOWNED BROADSTONE golf course.
The Nursing Wing is HELD IN THE older SECTION OF home AND HAS ITS own unique character – it was once A Country Manor and retains MANY of the original fittings. As the Home grew in popularity and demand, so did the building. It has been extended to accommodate 7 extra single rooms, 3 en-suites. There are 3 double rooms, the remaining single, a large lounge and conservatory. All rooms are comfortably AND TASTEFULLY furnished. EACH room has a television point, and you may wish to have a telephone line installed. Each room has a drawer with a key for you to secure any valuables.
The Residential Wing is the NEWER extension, completed in August 2000. It has 14 BEDROOMS, of which there are 2 double. THESE have accommodated married couples in their time, and remaining rooms have en-suite facilities. The residential bedrooms have door keys for your SECURITY AND PEACE OF MIND. There is a separate dining room, lounge and conservatory. All accommodation conforms to the National Care Standards Commission, which came into EFFECT in April 2002.
Our clients are aged 65 and over, but there is provision available for the under 65’s.
Service User’s are encouraged to bring in their own possessions and small items of furniture. Towels and bed linen are provided AT DELPH HOUSE, but service users may use their own if they prefer.
The Home provides care for elderly Service Users, promoting independence and encouraging family involvement. We welcome applicants from all walks of life and with many different needs.
