Tailored and Individual Care Plans to Suit You

We take into consideration a variety of personal preferences, such as dietary requirements, personal hygiene needs and more. Our Service User’s meal times can be adapted to suit their preferences, and they can choose to either eat in their rooms or the dining room. We also encourage choice by dividing our communal room into two sections; a quiet area and a viewing and listening area with a TV and radio.
Our care plans also contain risk assessments, manual handling requirements and specific needs such as healthcare, medication, GP information and other specialist services required. Each of our Service Users will be allocated a Key Worker, who is responsible for reviewing care plans on a monthly basis, or more frequently if necessary. This is in addition to supervision by the manager and our designated senior trained nurses.

Hairdresser
Our hairdresser visits Delph House every Monday. Let our staff know if you would like to request an appointment.
Laundry
We carry out all laundry on site and collect it from your room. We request that all personal items are labelled to avoid confusion and to ensure that we can return it to you. Should you wish for your clothing to be washed by a relative at home, we offer separate clothes bags upon request.
Religious Needs
At Delph House, we offer Church of England services, as well as Communion, on site. We display all dates on our notice board, which is located in our reception area. The clergy is also willing to visit the home if requested. Other denominations will be respected, and every effort will be made to meet your needs.
Doctor / Dentist
We assist our Service User’s in continuing with their GP but, should you live outside of the area, we do request that you register with a local GP. This also applies to your dentist, optician and chiropodist. Although, if they are unable to keep you on their system, we do have regular visits to the home where visits and treatment can be carried out.
